Damien Sneed, the much-lauded recording artist, conductor, and New Yorker who’s collaborated with Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, and who provided musical direction for SummerStage’s 2015 production of “The Wiz: A Celebration in Dance & Music,” will lead an evening of performances by Brandie Sutton, Stefon Harris and Keke Wyatt. 3 Sides of Damien Sneed: Classical, Jazz and Sanctified Soul” was originally developed in conjunction with Catskill Jazz Factory. Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist Jazzmeia Horn, one of the most seismic up-and-comers to take the microphone, will open the show. In 2015, Horn won the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition, and she’s only soared higher from there.
